Melancholia is a helluva drug and this right here is my new shady dealer. Very delicate and brittle music for all us dusk worshippers who enjoy our sadness drug with tremoloes, post-metal build-ups and acoustic caressing and wavy majestic ambience. High class art. P.S. That slowdown in the end of Gomez is fucking breathtaking.
Favorite track: Heart of hearts.
The cover of this album is the perfect portayal of the music inside: a vibrant mystery in the deep of the night. Mystery hide secrets, but in itself is more then this: it's the night with no ground that surround us from everywhere, being nowhere. The nothingness from which our existence flows, together with the world, joy and sadness, fear and hope. pg.lost play the music of a common dream dreamt by No-One.
Favorite track: Prahanien.
Magical, powerful, young, loud, true, sad, occupying a place in my heart. Smashing Pumpkins used to make such music back in the times of vivid vans. Never believe in yourselves, pg.lost, never outgrow your music. The artist is but a vessel, and a vessel's usefulness is in its emptiness.
Favorite track: Still alright.
If you have never heard 'Mono' (shame on you) this is as good a place to begin as any.
A magisterial delicacy, souls skipping stones across the Phlegethon; the thrumming echoes of broken heartstrings, and the dissonant collapsing of thunderheads all -sometimes- within one track. Enjoy! vykr
